DESCRIPTION:
Wm.L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn. "Occidental" walnut 8-day time & strike parlor clock, C.1891.
CONDITION:
Original darkened finish, except on small bottom front panel (poorly stained). Old side mirrors have small tarnish spots. Small eye-hooks on top rear installed by past owner to prevent tipping. Standing cupids look newly painted. Paper dial has some stains and filled areas around winding holes. Original indicator pendulum. Movement ticks and strikes but needs cleaning. Silver-print tablet probably newer. Ht. 23".
